What a trip...I met...rednecks of all sorts of shapes and colors. White rednecks, brown rednecks, black rednecks, girl rednecks, more girl rednecks. Even more girl rednecks! Midget rednecks, hillbilly rednecks (uh, what?) Northern rednecks (what?x2)

I met some NYC! chicks! NYC chicks craaaaaaaaave me. Ask depeche. Even in vegas, in a club that is full of local hookers, I find 3rd grade school teachers from NY. In florida, amongst rednecks upon rednecks, I find a pair of Italian chicks from westchester. A blonde and a brunette. The brunette forces herself on the Blondie, then proceeds to have me squeeze both their asses to figure out which one's is firmer. Later she gets drunk and tells me about her boyfriend, the love of her life, then, exactly 30 seconds later, proceeds to suck my face like it was the neck end of a beer bottle. Then I pushed them on stage, too bad they ran off. I'd probably need a whole post to accurately describe what transpired with us and these two. However the best thing about them was I convinced them to do shots with me...so we, the 3 of us, bought a round each. Anyway, they can't drink straight vodka so they begged me to get something softer...I, of course, ignore their pathetic requests and order goose (redneck bars don't have quality vodka, so this was pretty much my only choice unless I wanted to drink camel piss)...they can't drink it...so I end drinking 9 shots for the price of 3. And people say I don't know a good deal when I see one!

My favorite thing has to be when we were cruisin the streets at 3am and found a redneck boy/girl on a bicycle that sang us russian lesbian (Tatu) love songs and offered us some marijuana. I'll save this for a later post.

3up would have died from alcohol poisoning in the first 2 hours.

dudu would have passed out and slept in the bathtub, trunk, side walk, random puddle of urine, and pretty much anywhere else and I'm sure he would have gotten lost for the duration of the trip only to show up at the airport and ask us where we've been for the last 5 days.

I guess it is time to finally post some shit. Jay is trying to relive the spring break and college experice he never had. I hope it doesnt end with him being bent over buck naked and being paddled by a big fraternity boy!
Maybe this blog will release some of my tensions. Where do I start well.... 3 years ago i was playing 5-10 deep stacked (3k)at the Wynn and beating the game up. Now i am playing 1-2 200 buy in online and sweating flips for $200. That is what having no roll will do for you. I feel my game has lost its edge. Skill level in the toilet, just abc multi tabling nit grinder. The title of this post shoud be cry me a river. After losing top set AAA to a rivered flush and and losing with 77 on a QQ7 flop when the 3rd Q hits the river and counterfeits me. Oh well standard for me. If you dont know my game I can say that i get it in good at least 80% the time.. winning is a different story. Regarding DOO DOO he is a fish passing up spring break to play roller hockey. LOL! DOO DOO it is no crime to be gay, i am sure there will be boys a plenty on the prowl in Daytona who might find your trailer park ass passably attractive...

Hi Jay, sorry I can not make the trip to Florida but my competitive spirits rose recently and now I am playing sports again. Something you have never done due to the fact you live in New York, where people only bet on sports and yell loudly about them on the streets.

Thank you for wishing me well in my Hockey Tournament! Maybe if you could make fucking plans to do something with more than 72 hours notice I could swing it. Long story but I will spill it for the blog.

When I was in 9th grade there was a girl who always told me I had a tiny dick.... Now I am a stupid 9th grader obv so I get a picture of me standing sideways to the camera with a hard on....

So I send it to her and she views it and sends it to a buddy of mine (who is my current roommate) (I didn't really know him at the time) (he was in my english class in 9th grade) who is real social, talks to everyone has everyones emails etc etc (back when everyone had AOL emails) so he gets the pic from this girl and sends it to his whole mailing list and titles it FWD so people forwarded it, he got a hold of the faculty emails and sent it to every teacher principal etc in my highschool. My highschool had over 1000 kids by the way. So now literally 80% of the highschool has seen my dick.... My English teacher would not look me in the eyes for about 10 days, I had to talk to the principal and I told him "Hey I didn't send this to everyone, and if you want to expell me go ahead, but I mean I dont see how it could be any worse than walking around here every day" (also what I told my parents) So I didn't get punished by the school or my parents. Annnnd I didnt get called a little dick anymore, yay fun story.

Poker news....

I fucking rule.... I am peaking "career wise" I have been disciplined (for the most part) and been running well playing fairly well, have had a few really bad sessions mentally. But for the most part I have been easily clearing 5-7K every week for about 4 months now playing minimal hours for the most part, and including a couple 5-10K blunders....

I bought a couple books to handle my taxes, something Jay throws the middle finger to.

Apparently I need to buy a business license. But I can write off a vehicle that weighs 6000 LBS or more! So Lincoln Navigator here I come some time in the next few months or whenever I am eligable.

I still need to quit smoking.

I am going to florida for spring break. With my crazy friends. And if I think they're crazy, you know there's something wrong with them.

I will finish part 2 of the previous entry later. Maybe before I leave, maybe after I return. The good part is, there will probably be lots of ridiculously stupid events that can only happen to me to write about. The bad part is, I probably won't share them here.

Random stuff:

-I dropped like 7k playing horrificccccc a few weeks back. I deserved to lose every penny.

-Yeah, I let depeche on the blog. It was a moment of weakness. I was staying at his house last month for a few days and he whined and begged that dudu was posting and not him. I broke his shower so I figured I'd add him and call it even. Don't worry, I doubt he'll be posting much and he can't possibly suck any more than dudu.

-Speaking of dudu, how in the world does anyone, and I mean anyone actually enjoy his blog? Whenever I see anything written by him, I almost want to apologise to our 3 readers. Almost. OooooOooooooooooooooOOOOOOO. I'm retarded! Let's all wish him well in his roller hockey tournament!

-I'm lifting again...need to get some vanity workouts in before beach season (I bet a whole bunch of dutch carbon players are laughing their faces off right about now). I feel like a little girl...my friend is is pushing 100's for chest press and I'm barely eeking out 70's. This is what happens when you play poker...actually I can't even use that excuse anymore...how much poker have I actually played? This is pitiful.

-I parked on a meter and broke the meter because I'm too cheap and or lazy to pay the 25 cents it would cost me to park for a half hour. And I like breaking meters (which, off the top of my head, is like a 4 figure fine and a criminal offense). So anyway I come back and the meter is broken but theres a ticket on my car...so I go off on a huge tirade of swearing...then I open the ticket and it's a ticket for an expired inspection sticker! Oops.

After 8 months of driving around with an expired inspection sticker, they finally got me. In NYC, you need to pass a vehicle safety inspection every year...it's basically a tax for owning a car...so I just refuse to do them on principle. That is, until they ticket me. The ticket is $65 and the inspection costs $37, but then when you get it done (which you would normally have to anyway), you can mail in a copy of your receipt and they dismiss the ticket. I see it as a win/win situation. 8 months is my new personal record.

When I came to the shop to get the inspection, the mechanics (we all know each other pretty well) started yelling amongst each other that I was finally coming in to get it done even before I told them what I wanted. There was a whole bunch of guys in the shop so one the the mechs grabs me and takes me for show and tell on the account of not being ticketed in NYC for something so obvious for 8 months. The entire shop gave me a round of applause. I don't think they were very genuine.

-My friend B recently got himself a blackberry. If you don't know what it is, it's a candy bar type phone with a full keyboard. The problem is, he doesn't know how to lock the keyboard so it doesn't dial accidentally. What ends up happening is he keeps hitting the speed dial key connected with my number and doesn't realize it. This leads to some very amusing conversations of me listening to him yell the absolute worst obscenities I've ever heard in my life at his employees. I kid you not, some of the stuff he says is probably illegal on 5 continents. It would be frightening if it wasn't so funny.

My life is such a joke. I hate you all.

I need a trailer for my Suzuki Samarai but I can not find one for less than 1500ish and I paid 1200 for the vehicle so why pay more for a fkin trailer than a working vehicle!

So I haven't been playing much poker. Mostly cause I suck and don't wanna go busto, but also because I decided to get myself a new car since apparently my current car needs new axles because there's nothing left of the old ones on the account of me ripping it up and down the parkway at 90+ everytime i drive and NYC roads aren't exactly pothole free.

For you mechanic types: My cv's are totally torn, the axles are completely bare, and to top it all off a I need a new MAF & thermostat & battery.

Anyway, so better than replacing the axles, I figured I'd just pull a Jman (who, if you're unfamiliar, instead of washing his clothes just goes and buys new ones when the ones he's wearing get dirty) and buy a new car altogether.

So I drive to my boys in the morning, get there about 9, and off we go. They're running it #270 or something like that on lane 13. Lane opens 9am, they run roughly 100 cars an hour...we get there 10ish. All good right? Wrong. We can't get our bidder badges. Account suspended! Ballin! Who buys 100k worth of cars and forgets to pay for them? Only people who would be friends with me. Anyway, he finds some checks and some cash and pays like the minimum to get activated and we're on our way.

Monitor says 13 is @ 125. Nice. We've got time to go drag race it around the parking lot and blow the engine before it even crosses the block. Ballin. So we spend about a half hour looking for the beast and low and behold...its not there. Sigh.

Off we go to operations, making a detour to look at some pathetic 99 CLK that was repainted by a blind monkey:

Now before I continue, let me explain something. This place hires mostly senior citizens and the ugly of the ugly. So on the super rare occassion that there is someone even remotely attractive working here, she is automatically promoted (within her head) to Jessica Alba (or whatever hot chick you may think is currently hot) level hottness. Yeah, it's scary.

I continue to play absolutely terrible and run just as bad.

So I flirted with a -5500 day to only sadly finish at -3k. Yes. I have 3x as many losing days as winning days now.

Okay. First of all...I play horrible and by horrible I mean terrible and by terrible I mean if you take a legally retarded midget and sit him at the poker table, I'm relatively sure he will play better than I can.

Today was a very special day. I shoved into either the nuts or the near nuts 3x. To the same person. In the same position. As many hands as I've played over the years, this is a new one even for me.

Let's start with shoving a flush draw on the turn drawing stone cold dead cause dood turns a super disguised fullhouse out of the bb. Oh did I mention it was like a 450bb pot? Yeah.

Then same dude calls from bb, we see a flop of 666. No, I don't believe in satan or hell so it's not an omen you bible nazis. Anyway, he manages to play his 6 like a donk. And what do I do vs donks? I try to push them off quads with A high. Yay.

Same dood again! OPening AA UTG, our friend calls out of bb...we see 366 2 clubs. I shove for value..what does he show? 36.

It's nice to play bad and run good. I used to do that. Now I just play bad and run bad. And whine here. Sniff.

A bunch of tards, not one, not two, not three, but 4 or 5 have been randomly overbet shoving into tiny pots for stacks. Of course, on some kind random board with 2 herts (sorry, I don't remember a random board would be Q84)the turn pairs the board and puts a heart, and river bring 9h and gives me the nut flush. I check and donk shoves. He's done it like 4x now. How can I fold? Ship him a huge pot cause he made 9's full.

I don't know. Maybe I ought to wait for qauds.

Bunch of donks have been playing me HU 5-10 limping pots. One guy loves to just ship ti in for like 900 into 30. pick up a small pot and leave. He's done it 3x now. I flopped a Q high flush he calls 2 streets, riv brings 4 flush, i vtown he pops me I fold. He scoops 300$ and leaves. I think I'm down like 2k to this kind of strategy. I wonder if they have a team that's been put together specifically to annoy me?

I think this was the same dude who I flopped set of dueces on yesterday only to bet 2 streets and have him lead shove runner runner straight.

Here's a cute hand: So I'm playing one of the worst players ever. Not like this year, but everrrrrrrr. I mean, you can't be any worse than this guy, if you don't count me that is. This dude just weak loose, 90% of his buttons and calling raises most of the time. Never 3bets, rarely raises, rarely bluffs. Anyway he has like no chance but it's a grind to play him. small pots etc. Whatever. I'm grinding him down slowly waiting till he check calls 3 streets with top pair so I can get there with overs or something. I dunno. We keep playing back and forth. He sucks. Then this:

I open btn and flop Khigh flush on like QT8 or something zany like that. COuld have been QT9. Anyway, all spades. ROAR. he checks, I cbet, he raises me! Wait. What? He has either the str8 or the nutflush or a baby flush or 2pr or QUADS!! QUADS BABY!! Sigh. So i'm either way ahead or way behind. Like a total donk, I just call. I don't know I've played like 10 hours straight, leave me alone. I suck. So yeah I called. turn comes off suite A. He pots me, oh baby I need to ship it in like now. What do I do? I call. River brings off suite Q. NICE GOING JAY, you tard. He of course ships his last 500 in and I don't even need to timebank. I'm so beat here but I need to justify writing this blog so I throw the 500 in and he shows me AQ.

I know what you're thinking...and you know what? FU. I should have probabyl folded but I'd never forgive myself if he was shipping the str8 or the baby flush or even QJ, and he was bad enough to do that. I think. I don't even know anymore.

Whatever. It wouldn't have mattered if I shipped it on the turn anyway, he wasn't going anywhere. The only difference would be this blog title would be "I get 5 outed for 2200 on the turn. Again" instead of whatever it says now.

I go to raise some donk limp w K7dd and make it 218 instead of 18. BB wakes up with AKcc and ships it. I get like 4:1 on my money but brick my 3 outer after flopping and turning every single draw possible. Variance, you tease!

Vs a a donk ratholing shortstacker who built up a 100+ bb stack: We end up playing hu cause every1 else sititng out or bust0eddd. Anyway. he's been min 3betting me like 1/3 hands and its annoying. WHo dat? Who dattt? Jay? Jay a nit? Jay's a nit? I 4bet 35o. He calls. Obv. What else is new? at least the flop comes sexy right? 24x, x being maybe a Q or an 8...nothing insane. HE CHECKS! What? Okay, i fire pot, he ships it in! Oops. Obv I call off getting better than 3:1 hoping that I'm up against kings queens jacks tens a set of 4's...whatever...anything but aces. What does he show? One of those all in over shove fish likes me. Who knows why? People are attracted to me. They either want to be my best friend or beat me up. Or have me sleep with their wife. But anyway so this fish starts talking to me and then asks me to call him. Okay. I guess he really does love me. And I am not one to pass up some hot and kinky phone sex with some tard I met playing online poker. So I call him to see what he wants.

Now, this dude is either straight up retarded or insanely drunk. He's slurring his words, and muffling his speech...but he keeps saying something about cleaning ass. And I can't understand what he wants for the life of me, except I think he wants to clean my ass or their ass or someones ass...and then it hits me...he wanted to clean them out...by them he meant the 4 other people playing with us...but he keeps saying clean their ass which was actually pretty funny but I was too busy multitabling to pursue it futher. ANyway, dude asks me to help "clean their ass"...i giggle...and tell him that I don't collude and he'll have to clean their ass all by himself. Conversation ends.

And here I thought someone wanted to make phone love to me...all he wanted to do was cheat.

I just booked a -1k session and it feels like a win.

That's sick. Pft. I played kind of good for a while then kind of bad for a mediocre session I guess...but holy hell why do I keep running this terrible? This is ridiculous. 2months of being coolered and sucked out on...and everytime I think it's about to end...everytime I put up a decent win and have a decent day where some hands hold, the very next day reminds me how brutally awful variance can get.

I'm annoyed about 3-4 hands I misplayed in big pots.

One hand I just wasn't paying attention to the table and our stack sizes, so I ended up needlessly calling a turn bet with TPTK on a dry paired board where villian and I were mega deep and he was obv building pot huge to stack me with trips...technically 3up is right and I could have just folded the flop but I think thats debateable...turn was an easy pitch though.

And I tilt called off with topset on a river where the flush hit just because I keep flopping sets and losing with them none stop.

Prob shouldn't have shipped Ahigh on double paired board in 1 spot either.

And one other hand I don't recall.

Otherwise just horrible variance....

A huge donk keeps playing enormous pots oop with air and constantly making some kind of back door runner runner flush or str8 combos where I either have some sort of good 2 pair hand or top set or whatever and I can't fold because he's a tard. I think he's stacked me 3 or 4 times doing that.

Got cool'd for 400+bb pot @ 3-6 mid set vs top set on super drawy board. Mehh..

Dood calls down light for stacks and gets there on riv 1st hand. 2nd hand he flops boat with 22 on 277 and I hold big pair. Pukee.

Some tard ships it on me with 53 on A25 or something along those lines. He immediately gets there on the turn. Sure, tons of equity.

Oh, this is a fun one...I flop the nut straight on a 2 club board. Dude leads flop, calls raise with draw to the under straight. Calls pot bet on turn, and gets there with backdoor flush. I can't find the fold button.

Some tard ships it in every 3rd hand, I flop a set with dueces on 2k8 2 hearts, he runner runner a straight, the flush bricks on the river, he lead ships it in huge and I;m forced to call. Great.

One of the worst regs on site open limps HU, we see a J29 flop, it goes bet raise reraise, 4bet and i ship it in with J2, dude calls with 29 and makes backdoor flooooooosh..

Absinthe, Live Poker PWNS Me, Online <3 Me

So I bought 5 bottles of Absinthe (no I have never drank it before, but felt 5 liters was a good amount to dip my toes in with). Have not really touched it yet, just a couple shots and can't tell you what I expect yet, should be alright though.

Live poker.... I am down like 9000$ playing live in the last 10 days (a couple 1K tourneys and a couple 300$ buyins and 2-5 cash games)

I went real deep in an Omaha tourney at Cherokee for the Oklahoma State Championships of Poker. 140 players and we get down to 19 players (14 pay) and this hand occurs (tell me how unlucky I am)

First the scope of the table. I was big stack early, lost a lot of chips was then a shorty then caught a little fire to become a top 3 stack with about 80K in chips (600ish in play) so I am very healthy vs the avg stack. An asian lady on my table who barely has me covered. All others are fairly short with not much room to play post flop.

Me and the Asian lady are literally just raping blinds (currently 800 1600) (40 minute levels so we are about 9 hours in) We are opening about 60-70% of the pots combined and very rarely in pots together.

She opens in early to 5600 (pot bet) I just flat with 5d 6d 7x9x both blinds fold. I am in position now HU.

Flop Ac 3d 4d

She pots for 13,600 and I repot it to 50 something leaving me about 25 behind.

NOW we have been opening A LOT of pots.... Only hand she can call me with here is AAXX, I dont think she can tangle for our stacks and positions in the tourney with even 33XX (44 she can ruling out my AA) (also not that I think 333 is a possibility so just speaking that for no reason) AdXdXxXx I think she ends up mucking also..

So she pauses for a second and moves in with of course, AAXX (when she flipped her hand up I thought she had diamonds too but only had one)

SO I am still in fine shape, virtually a flip and I might be a slight fav...

Turn 9c river 10s..... sick.....

I bust out of the money and give a great stack away, she ends up winning the tourney atleast.

Then I play the Heartland Poker Tour and I make a deep run, no cash but a deep run, just barely miss the cash, blinds move so quick in this tourney. I am very proud of myself for not snapping earlier in the tourney. By the time blinds were 500 1000 with a 100 chip ante I never had over the start stack, then FINALLY I cross 15K then lose back down to about 12K soon after. I was 3 outted 3 of 4 times I was in a turn them up pre situation, battling short(er) stacks trying to get going and some how only catching fair cards vs them.

I hold AK over KQ once to give me my biggest stack to blind ratio at 16ish!

Anyways blinds are 2500 5000 with a 500 chip ante when I bust. I have about 30K in chips and move in with 77 in mid and find JJ to cut me down to 5800 chips so I am in the next hand when UTG ships it in I come in all others fold I am vs QQ flop A J 3 with 1 Diamonds ( I have 56d) I ask for the 4d and the turn falls, 4d.... But I brick the river and bust about 15 from the 50 they paid roughly. Winner takes 127K and some change, but it wasn't for me I guess.

Then in a Stud HiLo tourney at Cherokee for the State Championships of Poker again, this tourney pulls a REALLY small field, but still the blinds are 40 minute levels and we start with 6000 chips. A massive field of 26 players came to fight for the ring and the cash. I literally have over half the chips with 10 left, running really well... But had been drinking since the start ( 9 hours in now) with 5 left and I spew every chip I have away to bust in 5th place lol. Not that winning was life changing, but 3700$ wouldn't hurt especially when I am sitting in an insanely good position to do so, and you got a gold ring, which I could lock up in my safe for personal satisfaction.

2-5 has been just brutal for me for the last 2 weeks. I seriously can not make a hand, find a hand, hold a hand, steal a hand or anything. It is just brutal. So I am stuck about 1200 BB in the past 6 or 7 sessions. Not good at all, variance is a bitch.

Doing great online though, which I am extremely thankful for. Keeps my motivation up atleast.

Poker sucks. -25k or so on the year. I run super bad and play super bad.

I went to visit 3up in Tampa this week who threw me out of his house in about 14 hours. Then I went to visit my friend Dan in Miami only to realize we both suck at poker. We went to play 100 max buyin shove fold 5-10 at the hard rock. It wasn't as fun as I'd hope...the idiot players, incompetent dealers and constant rebuys make it too slow to enjoy. And the alcohol isn't free. I lost $300 when my K3 off failed to improve over some fish and QJo ran off into the monsters that are A4 and 55 respectively Never the less, needless to say I haven't been sober a single day this week.

Worst freaking part is, for some ungodly reason it has been freeeezing in miami. God. I run bad even when I go on vacation.

I have lots to write about but I really don't feel like it so you'll have to savor these savvy tid bits of a ballerish lifestyle. Oh wait, one thing has to be mentioned:

One of these last few days Dan and I called up dudu early in the morning and told him we flew into the tulsa airport and to come pick us up. Well, not only did we apparently catch him during his most serious and beloved activity...I'll let those of you with inquiring minds ask him yourselves what it is...but we also convinced him to get into his 1995 ford f150 and pick us up. Then we requested cowboy hats and happy meals on account of being cold and hungry. He claims to have only driven 500 feet before we offered to sell him some property on mars, but I have a feeling it was more like 5000. Teehee and giggles.

All I can say is I have never ran so poorly in live poker over 2 days....

I bust the 1K tourney in 2 levels due to my stupidity.
I lose 4K on 2-5 tables.
I bitched out on playing 5-10 because the games actually looked tough.

I picked up KK one time in 2 days, AA none, QQ once, JJ none, 1010 twice.

I even make a huge mistake with my KK (given my table image, I open about 30-40% of the pots and stab at 80% of those) I flat on my straddle! guy makes it 50 from the cutoff I am button with the "Mississippi Straddle" that is hard to get used to, all I am trying to do is get this other player in the pot who has been in repeated pissing contests with me. He limp mucks and I am up against QQ and A72 flops and slows us both down and I win a small pot when the guy who had QQ would have called his 800 off pre without a doubt.

I couldn't catch a break to say the least so left down almost 6K in like 60 hours of being there... oh well...

Bunch of smaller tourneys in Oklahoma this week, 300$ buyins about 20 minutes from me, some should pull some 30-50K first prizes so I will dabble in those and hopefully come back with some of my money back. Heartland Poker Tour will be here in about 6 days also, which is an 1100$ buyin will def be in that.

So PDC turned on the boomswitch for me the last few days so I took a couple bucks off our very own Dadu and Jay and today they let me run hot against some crazy spewy opponents namely TakeUrChip, who is up over 100k over the last few days and rolled our heroes recently, who joined my 5/10nl game and started open shoving any two. I crushed there and ran super good because 9To is the nuts and won enough to follow him to play cantum @ 25/50. For a long time Jay has told me cantum is out of his mind super bad terrible and since Jay says that about just about everyone I never gave it much thought. After playing with him it's true and then some. I'm debating weather to continue to take shots or to hold off and keep grinding especially since I have a roll again now so there's a significant loss in utility if I run bad. I'm thinking I'll probably grind it out unless the game is really good and leave them alone when they're waiting for heads-up.

On the movie front, I checked out an oldie called Even Money because it was about gambling and had my man Tim Roth (Mr. Orange) but it was completely skipable. I saw Yes Man as well, the new Jim Carrey movie which is basically a rehash of Liar Liar, and it's exactly what you expect the movie to be so while not great I can't complain either.

Jazzed as gambling outside of my roll always does especially when I book a fat win. Holla!

So I decided to donk around on ftp considering pdc is loving me rectally at the moment. Plus why not play in the toughest games on the net? Things went some much better! Not really.

200bb deep:

Dude open limps OTB. I bump from BB w/ AK, he 3bets me. lol? I donk shove for 2 stacks. He snap calls w/ KJhh. Nice? I thought so. Jack hits the flop, there are no aces in the deck for me. Germans are smart. He immediately leaves.

Then a bunch of coolers. Heads up, I open OTB, we both check flop. Turn gives us both 2 pair. Mine being worse. He quits. Bleh.

Blind vs blind: dood calls 3bet from SB w A5dd. Flops wheel and flush draw. Check calls the flop. We both turn flush, i ship him a stack.

Dude opens OTB, gets 3bet from bb, calls. Flop Q45 fdraw. He flats a cbet. Turn 3. Check check, River J, giving me top 2. I shove. He calls w/ a wheel. Weeeeee~

One other I can't remember where I got cool'd for a stack.

I have no idea how I broke even. Oh well, not like I need money or anything as long as I keep getting those super valuable ftp points! Just six more months of daily playing and I'll be able to get one of those cool FTP jerseys...which will certainly come in handy for keeping warm when I can't pay my bills and am out freezing in the streets. On a brighter note, games were relatively good for ftp standards. Beatable for a decent rate as each table I was at had at least 1 donk (by todays standard anyway), some 2. Albeit at least 1 to 2 decent/good players as well. Not semi donks but thinking/range meshing type.

Obviously calling it off with J5s far from ideal but don't really have a choice there. The limp preflop is obviously a misclick and after that the hand basically plays its self. Getting 3:2 odds you only have to have 40% equity and while we're 40% against the fast majority of his range we're occassionally dominated leaving our equity @ around 36% & assumming a range of JJ-22,AQs-A2s,KJs+,QJs,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,76s,ATo+ which I think is a bit harsh and I think our equity is closer to 38% which makes the play only slightly -EV in a vacuum. The image you garner though from making this call against a donk sitting directly on your right is worth much more then the few dollars in equity you give up. You don't mind donks getting deep stacks on your right since they play much worse deepstacked, he will view you as a total maniac and pay you off constantly, and you get massive tilt equity if you hit and he rebuys. I think most MSNL try to justify a lot of bad plays by citing metagame when the fact of the matter is most players can't adjust anyways but a spot this obvious is just asking for it.

So I brick that off and he proceeds to fire two barrels into my trips with a gutshot a few hands later, hit it on the river, and I make a bad push into him giving him yet another stack and he promptly leaves. Awesome.

Meanwhile on my other tables I'm still playing super aggro, and had been spewing to start the session but finally hit a run of huge starting hands to which everyone proceeds to open fold to me. Obviously shaping up to be a long session. No longer getting hands and having a spewtard image I'm forced to tighten up for a while and then once my image gets a bit tighter among the regulars I open back up and start trucking a bit. Then manage to make two flop c/rs overbets with marginal hands and run into monsters both times in situations where both were for value expecting any pair to call. So I grind it out some more and bluff raise a ton of rivers to make Jay proud including one super sexy one where I bust out the seldom used, double float on one of the best regulars at these stakes:

Obviously super advanced play and we both play good so don't try this at home. So I get to within the short of curlies of even on the session and then proceed to get sucked out on in some sick pots and drop 8 buyins in about 10 minutes and decide to just shut it down.

In other poker related shit I just made the switch from PT3 to HEM and while I haven't used it on the tables yet I have imported my hands on the year and toyed around with it and the stats this thing have are just absolutely amazing and it's so much better then PokerTracker it's not even a question of which you should get. I do think it operates considerably slow then PT but the wealth of information that is available is top notch even if the presentation could be cleaned up a bit.

My mouse also died right after I started a session so had to go get a new one. Picked up the Logitech G5 and while I'm not in love with the top of it yet & prefer the smooth finish of the MX518 the rest of it is pretty solid. Peace.

Big Day Part Deaux

Ok Ok, SO I just posted about 14 hours ago.... and boy that post turned out inaccurate as hell....

So I was still in my only really good session of the year thus far then it all turned on me minutes after blogging..

This guy playing on 3 tables with Jay and myself. Well 4 tables if you count the 10-20 running for a bit.

This guy clears 15 Buy Ins on a 3-6 (9K++)
6 Buyins ona 2-4 (almost 3K)
9 Buyins on a 5-10 table (9K)
and almost 3 buyins on the 10-20 table (6K)

of that money about 20-21,000$ of it is profit for a session... This guy was on a sick sick sick heater and there was no stopping him (regardless of how many times Jay and myself tried to cool him off) We dumped a good 10K of that to him.

So I was up about 7500$ when I blogged earlier. Lost all of it.... lol every penny of my profit was gone to that guy.

So during the back 15 hours of my session I am losing to this guy, for about 9 of it... Then the final 6 I am just clawing back to get even on the day and make a few bucks. I do that... While playing the 22K and the 50K freeroll (no other tourneys today because I got so warped into the cash tables and was just delerious for the most part)

Well to say the least the 50K freeroll retrieved all of my tilt off money so I got to clear the day with just over 7K Profit somehow and Icouldn't be happier/more dissappointed in today. Goofed up eh?

Sooo that required a secondary entry I believe, and here it is... and since noone will read this I can comfortably say cockapoopoopeepeeshire to you all.

A Big Day!

Finally, put in a few hour session and did well... First time I have legitimately played this whole month and it felt good. Did find a really soft 10 20 game and did well in that, until my 1010 was busted by 77 (huge fish... couldnt muck overpair to her on any flop I don't think) Doubled in a 5-10 game and doubled in a couple 3-6s and didn't have to cap off my stack in any of those games (except the 10-20 I doubled a guy for 1200ish early) so it was for the most part profit across the board, even made 1000ish playin 1-2 PLO (which has been running fairly often for PDC standards the last few days I have checked)

Other poker, I have deposit a very small amount into my Cake account and my WSEX account for 1 reason, "taxes"

Yes I am an idiot and think I can play minimum hours on these 2 sites and pay my taxes with that profit. I will be playing 3-4 "double up" sitgos at 50$ buyin on cake each day, and if I can win 4 of 6 I play, that is 100$ every 3 days roughly for spending 45 minutes. 12,000 a year...

And on WSEX just playing for 45 minutes while I do those double up sitgos, if I can just break even in their 5-10 limit games (which seem to be the only games that run) I can gain 20-25 daily in RB which adds 6-8K more I could use for my taxes... BRILLIANT I AM, or just a moron with too much time to think about shit like this. I will abandon this plan really soon.

I had the worst hangover I have ever had in my life yesterday... I literally slept for 15 hours because it hurt so bad. I hate strip clubs... I lose too much money to those money hungry whores.

Hockey season starts in about 3 weeks, so I have a beard growing for the season... it's ballin.

They play so so bad, I run so much worse.

This is a recap of my 4th or 5th session on the year played about week and a half ago or so? I don't recall but I haven't played since.

Anyway.

Results first, whining later:

-12k...which puts me at about -8k or so on the year. Fantastic.

Best part: I played reasonably well! I mean, aside from like 2 significant hands. By significant I mean big pots, because lets face it who pays attention to small pots? And frankly, when's the last time you've heard me say that I played reasonably well? That comes around like twice a year.

Lets get to the whining:

They are abysmallllll!!111 sdjkghfdsaj~

I mean, in comparison with how much harder the games are everywhere with what they were last year, the games I played were fantastic. And they were mostly regulars.

I remember playing some dood @ 3-6 who defended w/ T6o in a 3bet pot and 2 paired on the riv and flat called when i bet pot for value. Yeah.

Same dude defends pf 3bet again, calls shove on 3bet flop of 737r. ROlls over T7o. Solid. I ended up handing him over like 3 buyins.

He sucks. I wonder what his name was so I can play him again. Oh well.

5-10: Played an old regular, semi-donk who likes to 3bet HU. K. Dude calls off w/ J3 on 5J84. Im way ahead. Here comes the river. I'm way behind. What does he do right after? He quits!

5-10 Same guy. I 4bet TT pf, 3 or 4 handed, he shoves. I tilt call. Okay, yes I tilt called but it wasn't horrible. Probably marginal, considering this dude a retard and I'm almost never way ahead, sometimes flipping and mostly behind. Calling off w/ TT there was prob -EV given the range he could have in that spot given how he was playing but its not so brutally awful that I'm going to beat myself up over it.

Played some other dude 5-10 HU who ran AQ into my AK and picked up a 300BB pot. Couple of short stacks sucked out or doubled up being ahead, whatever irrelevant. I couldn't win ahead or behind. So i'm annoyed now.

10-20:

More regulars who are pretty bad: One plays me HU, wins 50-60bb's and quits cause he no longer wants to play me HU. Great. Another regular who's even worse joins us half stacking. Great.

More 10-20, the worse of the 2 regulars doubled up to full stack, don't remember if at my expense or not. Generally a weak, pathetic player. First reg quits. I'm furious. Why are donks running away? There are no games! When donks leave and there are no games, jay gets upset.

2nd reg and I continue HU: dude 3bets me pf, i 4bet with 100bb effective. He opts to flat call. lol. Axx he open shoves. I hold an ace. I am on idiot tilt. I call off. He has ATo and doesn't realize how insanely good value shoving that was because he's bad at poker. I don't deserve to make 2 pair and he scoops, then instaleaves. Notice a trend? Only hand I actually regret.

Okay so now games are dead. 10-20 donk #1 goes to play another semi donk @ 25-50, who's leaps and bounds above him. I'm stuck like 7k. I'm annoyed. I promise myself I wasn't going to deal with 25-50 swings. I lied. I sit both 3handed with them and HU with 25-50 guy.

First hand I open button, he 3bets me. I donk call. Flop 2nd pair and lose the minimum. 2nd hand he open folds. 3rd hand I open button, he 3bets me from bb. I donk shove KK for 4xxx cause he's calling me oh so litttttttte. Surprisingly he flips over AK, Ace hits the flop, somehow I don't river the case king and session over.

I've been running so so bad.

In live poker related news the place I've mentioned before, the one that charges rake AND time, amuses me to no end. I watched some other crap Impulse or something...don't ask...I just get movies that are thrillers because I hope to stumble onto something good. It's rare but it happens. This was an utter POS but Willa Ford gets naked in it so I recommend watching it with the volume set to mute.

NFC Championship Game Was SWEET

Well, first NFL game ever. Sadly was not a Cowboys game... But it was a whole lot of fun the atmosphere was electric (surprisingly considering you would assume Arizona has no deep fan base, but the wait was worth it for them I suppose) A lot of Eagles fans there too, piss all over the Eagles and their fans. Several of them getting arrested and fighting people celebrating after the game. Burn in hell Philadelphia Eagles! I actually think that the Cardinals can possibly handle the Steelers in the Super Bowl also. I just don't see how anyone can hold them under 24 points and I do not see the Steelers winning any games that are a shootout. So I am going to lay some money down on the Cards to cover the spread, wait a few days see what it turns to was 6.5 pts now it is 7 I believe.

Have not been playing all that much, just spending money need to cut it out and get back on track. Maybe I get lucky and somehow get a piece of the Bad Beat Jackpot on Carbon Poker/PDC Poker which is just a hair away from being 1,000,000$ Hopefully it does not pop off on a 1$ 2$ Limit table and just turn into several hundred thousand dollars out of circulation since limit players rarely seem to want to get froggy in the NL games. Just hoping someone who puts the hours in is on the table when it happens. Supposedly 1,000,000$ is a new record for BBJ online? But I thought there was one on AP or UB for 1.4 mil or something like that.

I have never won a live seat package (vomit at how many times I have been close on several sites), never placed first or top 3 for that matter in a major tourney though having a couple chances at 50-100K scores, never hit a bad beat jackpot and never have won anythign in my life that was absurdly free and 100% luck and could be life changing (for the good or the bad :)

1. FT is, right now, the toughest US eligible site on the net. Bar none.
2. 2-4 FT player can beat up 95% of 5-10 PDC players.
3. You're losing with small pairs in 3 bet pots because of any or a combination of the following: you're only playing for set value vs people who's 3 betting range doesn't include only tier1 type hands, you're calling the 3rd bet in bad situations, people are recognizing set mining and flop textures and aren't stacking off to you when you hit, you're focusing too much/too little on your hand value, you're using such a small sample size it makes me want to delete your blog entry.
4. You suck at poker.

I'll let you figure out which one it is but AIM me if you want to discuss small pair profitability in 3bet pots.

Well I for one can't stay level on FT.... so I have a few conclusions on why..

Tourneys, I won't even discuss right now. Just striclty ring games and relatively low also, been playing some 1-2 on there a bit trying to get lined up to where I can do this little think called "profit"

I notice I usually ransack people who sit in new tables I try to start... Noone who helps start a game has a clue, or just can't play HU when they have other tables running and surely many reasons why these players are not going to fare well for the short period of time.

But, I feel like I have to race pre a lot with AK, JJ+ where I know this is wrong, but it just feels like I have to on Full Tilt, maybe it is because I have played so many tournaments on their site and not much ring, maybe it is because you get 3 bet a whole lot more, maybe I tilt on there? I haven't quite figured it out but I will I think.

I also have slowed down calling 3bets with smaller pairs, as I have been noticing a drastic loss rate with them, I don't use any poker software (poker tracker like stuff) but I feel like my wired pairs have been a high liability to my game on there.

I have quit 3 betting with less than AK (and occasionally AQ and 1010 when I feel the need or find the spot)

But I still find myself breaking even session after session or close to even, minimal loss or minimal gain, but the losses outweighing the gain.

PDC, no problems just love that site, I have no problem playing there.... Just doubting my capability to play bigger sites and want to know why I am struggling on them in even low stakes, is it my attitude to the game? Do I just have a good style to play on PDC? I know I have leaks but who does not have leaks?

I figure it out one day..


On the other side of the news, last weekend I said if the Arizona Cardinals got to host the NFC Championship game I would buy 4 tickets.... Sure enough 2 big upsets happen and I am going on a 15-18 hour drive to Arizona this weekend with 3 buddies tickets on me. I rock. Never have been to an NFL game so I am excited, though I have always hoped it would be a Cowboys game not an Arizona Philadelphia (god I hate Philadelphia) game. But oh well the atmosphere should be electric, even in the nosebleeds (and those tickets were over 325$ each delivered by mail)

So I've played 3 sessions in 09 that ended up like this:

Session 1: Played great, broke even.
Session 2: Played horrible, lost 6k.
Session 3: Played average at best, won 8k.

Meanwhile....dudu plays like trash every time and keeps putting up big numbers. Fair? I think not!

Play nearly every hand in the earlier level, hope to win coin flip towards end. Abuse BTN... taking down general flop textures (K85r) significantly easier IPS and extremely important to chip up enough where u can lose a flip later rounds and still be in it.

Poker & Movies

Well I bounced back almost immediately after my last post thanks to boomswitching on Pokerstars & actually playing well for a change. Played around 17,500 hands so far & my winrate definitely lower then I'd like it to be but I'm really happy with my play over the last two days. I've run bad enough to even out how hot I ran stoned, which I didn't appreciate was INSANELY hot. No more chronic & poker. I do think I'm going to have to start smoking mids more while playing or get adderoll though since after like an hour of play I really want to quit & do something else.

I feel like I'm making my first major improvements in my NL game in over a year so I'm kind of excited about it but can't articulate myself well enough to make it interesting to read atm so I'm just going to give a quick rundown on some TV & Movies.

The Wrestler is the big talk right now with Rourke returning to the silver screen playing a charector not dissimiliar to himself. I'm an Aronofsky fanboy for sure but I think this is possibly his best movie and definitely the most accessible to the masses since Pi had a rather esoteric appeal.

Wall-E - Eh, if you have to watch a movie with a kid it's acceptable but if I could go back I wouldn't watch it otherwise. I appreciate a lot of things they did with it but it didn't necessarily make it that entertaining. The thing I find funniest is that people use this movies as babysitters but I think most kids who sit through this movie don't really need one.

Burn After Reading - It's better then most shit that gets put out since it's by the Coen brothers but doesn't nearly live up to what the previews where and is just kind of flat the whole time.

Appaloosa is a good old school style western all the way down to it being based off the new sheriff in town. Damn enjoyable.

Gran Torino is probably the second most overhyped movie of the year next to Ironman. It feels like oldschool Clint alright which is what it is and is nice if that's what you're in the mood for but I hardly think that makes it the cinematic masterpeice people are making it out to be.

The two Seth Rogan comedies this year Pineapple Express and Zack & Miri Make A Porno both were alright but fell short of my expections despite having their own respective moments. Also, WTF @ the last 20 minutes of Pineapple Express?

Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Tropic Thunder on the other hand were probably the two best comedies of the year.

Other movies worth checking out include Vicky Cristina Barcelona & The Counterfeiters
Movies I thought would be good but you can skip would be Quantum of Solace & Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

TV wise if you don't love 30 Rock you're just not geeky enough to appreciate the greatness of it. Mad Men is a show I enjoyed but I've fallen way behind on because it got kind of stale to me but the most entertaining show on AMC is Breaking Bad and worth giving a glance. The Shield is over for good now and while tailed off the season before last if you haven't seen it go grab the DVDs and enjoy it from the beginning in all of it's glory & I'll sit here in envy. Californication picked back up after a slow start to it's sophmore season & Dexter was even stronger then last season. Both excellent show you should definitely watch if you haven't.

Since a lot of people ask me for shit to watch I'll prolly keep knocking these out as I hi-jack the blog from poker to movies. Dadu get my AIM from Jay & holla @ me

Yea so I am stuck also for the year, not toooo badly but still stuck...

I just give money away at the casino. I must not have the drive to play live poker anymore I just play WAY too fast and get caught up in a ton of hands that I can not seem to give up on.

Im stuck only a couple K online and about 3K live and then another 2K in random purchases...

Mens Ice Hockey League! Yea I joined one, me and a buddy I have not seen in 5 or 6 years ran into each other and we decided to get a team going and that starts in about 10 days. Had to buy all new stuff since I have lost all my old stuff for the most part. Hockey gear definitely not cheap either.

I have decided to quit smoking.... A few days late for a resolution, but lets see how it goes, this is day 1. I turned up the smoke shop when I was out today, how many days will that last though? Going crazy already. Pondering giving up drinking also, but I doubt I do that.

Variance evened out from when I ran well stoned & I continue to play like shit. On the brightside I expect big things this year both in poker & maybe I'll start posting what I do outside of it as well so all of you have something to look up to.

New Years sucked balls....

I lost a few buyins on a 1-2 table when I didnt even want to play last night, but the Casino built an "Ice Bar" which was actually a stainless steel slab with frost on it... pathetic, so I ended up playing poker for about an hour... lost a few bucks at the blackjack table....

So now I am at a buddies house hung over.... I didnt get my DL yesterday because they gave out too many tickets or something and I couldn't get in before 4:30 or something so now I have to get up at the ass crack of dawn and go get my DL in the morning.

PDC Shafted me on a check.... and they now send checks from 2 diff banks apparently... They are silly.

I can't tie my shoes with my eyes closed.

Im not playing poker for like a week, except on sunday probably... but I wanna play because I am a degenerate.

But I wouldn't get your hopes up. I'm still most likely going to be lazy as fuck & since Dadu has such a following it's clear almost all viewer of this blog are slightly more retarded then the average folk.

I didn't anything worth noting for New Years except smoke the best weed I've had since Vegas right before midnight. I get home shortly after and decide to play some poker and get grinding to start off the New Year. Unfortunately I'm blown out of my mind so I proceed to play like shit which isn't a good way to start the year. Had a nice 8BI downswing right off the bat but since I was stoned was able to play a long enough session that I could wait it out until I ran hot and booked a win.

2/4 on FTP was filled with super LAP players tonight as I had 2+ 40/3s or 60/15s on most my tables. I got to play some 29/24 but unfortunately did so rather poorly since I couldn't form a thought. Looks sexy in PT3 though. It's going to suck when I switch to HEM and the equity graph shows how bad I really am.
