Ok so this is fresh on the mind, a hand I just played on FTP

Ok so this is at a 3-6 Deep table (200BB) and were both 200 BB deep, me and this Estonian

Well he is a reg, but this hand actually pissed me off more than any hand I have played in a good long while.

I have AA in mid, he opens utg +1

He opens to 18, i make it 72, he makes it 160ish

K now me, I have AA, if I 4bet he is mucking almost anything, prob flatting KK QQ MAYBE, "MAYBE"

Noone is going to stack off 200BB with KK on a FR table 100% of the time

So I elect to flat.

Flop 10c 9d 2c

He bets 175 into 330ish

I make it 360, barely over a min raise

He ships and I snap expecting KK QQ (not JJ 1010 and ill explain why)

HE HAS FUCKING 1010!

This hand is so fucking bad for a reg....

1st off what is his objective with his 4bet??? To get 5bet by AA and muck his hand? To get 5bet by AK and muck? 5bet by KK? I mean seriously....

If I call I have him beat, if I come over the top he has to muck unless he is just going insano mode.

Why the fuck would he 4bet a hand with so much value vs a 3bet when we are 200BB deep?

He takes my 72$ or mucks and loses his 160ish OR I guess I get tricky and he flops a set....

That hand got under my skin though....

So Colorado, just got back from there last week I guess, but I am lazy on the blog updates.

I lost about 8k on the trip, plus my airfare and the hotel room (rented the mountain pine suite at the Ameristar in Blackhawk Colo) The room was awesome, go look at pics, that is why I put what I did in parenthesis!

But I lost so much playing craps... I ran so bad in craps, my horseshoe has fallen out of my ass at table games, I lost every where I sat. It was sucky.

My friends in Colorado all week before I fly in with this bad ass room I rented are telling me "we have so many girls coming"

ZERO GIRLS so we have to go search the floor for some, found 2 ugly girls, and 2 more that were ok, but we got back to the hotel wiuth the 2 ok girls and they had a friend puking and we never met back up... Awesome....

I am running good on PDC again, finally, I sit and I win! I run normal to good! Ty PDC

I just typed ummmm and deleted it, I guess this means I am prob done with this post, nothing too much has happened.

Well I guess I can dig deeper, we had nearly a foot of snow in Oklahoma, and I had to help a couple people get unstuck, yay, never telling anyone I have straps in my truck again, its butt fookin cold and people are stupid. I pull this one guy out at a gas station when I was gettin gas, then he proceeds to drive RIGHT BACK WHERE HE WAS STUCK then I pulled him out again, and drug his stupid little mini cooper all the way across the parking lot to prevent him from doing it again. Why so many people choose to drive around in the snow with 2WD I have no clue. Oklahoma drivers and snow are just not a good mix.

Christmas was good got a bunch of stuff from the folks, nothing expensive mostly just random things I need but forget to buy a lot (shampoo, kitchen items, basic necessities I guess) and I got my folks a couch, bought family photos with me my sister and brother, I guess I will post one in here, make it a family blog.

K Idk how time passes so fast

But it has been 20 days or so since an update, and I felt like I updated it yesterday...

So boring shit out of the way, poker!

So Jerry came through, and I got clocked by the worst session I have ever had, running miserable, then he clocks me on every 6max table I see him on with flips or just sucking out like he does (tho he has tightened up A LOT in the last couple weeks) But point is everyone clocks him but me, its stupid, and it is seriously cause he runs like a saint vs me....

But anyways, my account was on dooooomsdayyyy after that, (well I was too but I was running so bad on top of playing bad) running below EV losing literally every table I sat at, it was just sick....

So this goes on for about 2 weeks, and I go on like a 65-70k downfall.... yay!

So in my paranoia I had made a Carbon account a while back and I shipped 15k over to it and started playing a bit there, ran ok, won some hands, got about 3-4k back in an hour and I was sitting here at my desk smiling because I won some money finally! So I get back on PDC and I run ok, I get about 12K more back in a day! So I am like ok so maybe I am going to be ok here, maybe the carbon account just untilted me because I expected to run well, didnt play bad, but in hindsight I didn't run particularly well, I just didn't tilt, and ran about avg, I wasn't jamming every pot I played, I am playing pretty nitty right now, little gun shy after a 70k slide obv but... i will be back to reckless rick in no time.

So to pretty much dig out of this ridiculous slide, (which is actually like 80K + with tourneys and stuff on PS and FTP) Which I run incredibly deep in stuff but nothing past 6th, which basically best way to describe tourneys, when you cash, 3rd-9th places only cover your buyins for that stake level.... Well 3rd - end of cash line.... 1st and 2nd cover your pockets with money. So just nothing to survive, I went to town prob played 30-35k in buyins in a 4 day span and nearly busted both accounts, had like 10k in each roughly, or 15-5k or something.... but never cashed for over 4k had a couple final tables but lost some flips got coolered failed to cooler whatever.

So I end up with under 2k in both accts, and I say I guess I will take 2 shots play the 1k monday on Full Tilt and the Super Tuesday on Stars then be done with grinding tourneys for like 6 years since I hate them with a passion.

Well I ran into a curse... I got 3rd in the 1k monday for 39k, fuck me running I am prob gonna grind more tourneys now cause of that.. I hope not, I dont want to play tourneys ever again.

I hate sitting at my comp for like 12-14 hours sometimes longer and not making $$$ and not getting to break when I want, eat when I want, piss when I want, etc. Plus when you tilt in one tourney you tilt in like all of them, you are like big stack in 6 of the 20 tourneys running then you get fucked in one then you fuck yourself in about 5 others til you go "stop, this is stupid...." then you are thinking "well I still got one big stack left, lets just make up for it" then that one isn't the one thats going to make it ok! {IFhjkrlghljkshfnkldsf fuck tourneys....

Maybe I will play them when my tilt control is better? Until then, no.

So ottttherrrr news.... Nothing really, except I am going to Colorado this weekend to go with a buddy round some girls up rented a baller suite in a casino town, (mountain views, huge jacuzzi in the room) (supposedly almost panoramic views i nthe jacuzzi area, views of the mountains)


I am buying a house now, kind of , my sister is getting married or soemthing and leaving her house, so I am under the table purchasing it and she is going to deed it over to me when its paid off, so kind of a home owner now, nice house so kind of excited about that.

Michigan- Sleepless, Fortunate....

So I was in Michigan from Friday til Monday for the HPT Season Finale which anyone who won an event during the year got a free tourney buyin and 500$ cash for travel. So I get up there Friday night and there is a dinner for us and an open bar and we get a champions hockey jersey for winning the tourney we won.

So I get pretty hammered at the open bar, and after that we end up leaving with some goober we meet in the casino who like lives in his car I guess (not making fun of him, but he is apparently super stubborn or he wouldn't be living in his car from what I understand) Anyhow we go to some bar called Way Side in CMUs town and this place is just packed with 18 year old girls.... Teeny bopper bar I guess, oh well.


So we ditch this goober up there and end up getting a ride back to the casino from a cab driver. Me and my buddy head back to the room just hammered drunk, I dont remember the cab ride really but I do remember (after being informed the next day by my buddy) that when I got back to the room I go to dive on the bed and completely miss and hit the ground. I guess I was sober enough to do what I did next. I walk out of the room (buddy claims I literally crawled to the door) and I go play Roulette!!!!!! I get to the roulette table and pull out a bundle of 100s I had in my pocket and throw 100$ at a time out on the table and get a black chip and put it on a #, so I drill my # for 3500$ within 10 throws, I think 9 throws if my math was correct the next day then I peel another # within 10 tries, hit another within 10 tries, I dont know how many I hit but I had a 17k stack of purple 500$ chips when it was all said and done, tipped a dealer 500$ and went back to crash.

The next day my buddy wakes up and sees all the purple chips on the night stand and is like WTF!!?!??!? The last thing he told me before I left for roulette the night before was "Don't dude your just going to lose a fuck load of money and be pissed off"

So we go eat and sign up for the tourney whcih I bought him into since I won like 15k playing roulette and the tourney starts up and he is running a big stack up early, catching a lot of hands. He would have been a lot better off if his KK held to JJ and his AA held to QQ deeper in the tourney but hey it happens... Just not to me so early :P I have under 10BBs for literally 3 hours and like 4 levels until I finally catch some love!

I am utg with 9300 chips at 700 1400 blinds with 100 chip ante, I promise when I was utg the next round I had over 90k in chips. I 10x my stack in one round shipped J10 utg won a flip vs 44 then the guy who had the 44 shipped the cutoff on my SB and I SNAP RESHIP with A8 and my A8 holds vs 74, kinda holds? Flop K K 2 - 7 - A so it was interesting. Then AK v AJ for a bit pot, I opened like utg +2 and get 2 flats then a ship, the guy who was 2nd to flat my open shows AQ when he folds and I think fuck, I am up against a pair but guy tables AJ so that was cool.

I make it to day 2 my buddy barely misses the cut and we go off a drinking again, try to go to sleep but couldn't sleep really then 3up shows up to the casino finally at like 4 AM or something stupid when I have to wake up by 8 and we go eat and bullshit for a couple hours, I end up getting to sleep at about 6:45 and wake up at 8:54 cause my alarm does not go off and I have that internal clock going for me atleast.

Well I end up being the leader with 20 left, but literally fuck you Michigan players because you all take like 4 minutes to fold a fucking hand when there isn't even a flop out!?!? Because you all ask for an EXACT CHIP COUNT EVERY TIME SOMEONE MOVES IN EVEN WHEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT CALLING! BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL FUCKING STUPID!

I got 15th and this tourney had the same # of players as the one I won in, when I won we got 6 handed at 12k 24k and were 20 handed at like 4k 8k or so.

They didn't get 6 handed til 50 100k and did not get 20 handed til 10k 20k.... So stupid....

But anyways me and Chris Hanson (one of the TV commentators for the HPT) went and played craps later on (I am belligerantly drunk) and I have no clue how to play, he says he will show me and I pull 1k out of my pocket and say I wanna turn this into 10k or bust it. He ran me up to like 7k or so and that was cool.

Sooo all in all I made around 20k for the trip with like 500-1000 of that being poker! So I am not particularly proud of the trip for what it was supposed to be but hell I will take the profits.

Have not done anything online since really, played a bit won a bit flipping with JayNYC, you guys may have heard of him but I doubt it. I ended up giving him a pity out on it and shipped him half of what he lost back. He kept typing "cry" in the box and I am a sucker for whiners.

Life tilt: The Aftermath.

Okay, so now that I'm a bit settled...I'll recap this last month as best I can because honestly....the only thing I remember is spewing 60k away yesterday.

Briefly the good?:

I've been playing high? again...I no longer know whats defined as high stakes or mid stakes or what's defined as nosebleeds or what. So for all effective purposes...I've just been playing where money changes hands quickly...25-50 deep, 50-100, etc.

Yay!

Surprisingly, I've been winning... usually I either run like absolute hell @ 50-100 or get owned by people who are actually good. So because no one I've been playing is actually any good...I've won until...

So...Jerry. HOW DOES SOMEONE FLOP A PAIR+DRAW 80% OF THE TIME IN 4BET POTS? Someone explain this to me and teach me how to do it.

I'm obviously not going to go into in-depth strategy discussion...but we've played what I'm guessing is 6 "matches"...with him winning 3 and I winning 3.

yeah, so I'm running good obv...but that's not really the problem. The problem is this: he handles tilt better than I do. In fact, he's probably gotten me to shoot off/make a dumb call or play....for about 25k give or take.

Yesterday: We played a ton of hands in two matches....at least 5k hands...probably more. First session I won 25k and busted his account. An hour later he came back and we ended up playing for what seemed like at least 10 hours. During the 2nd session, there was never a point where I was up, but I was within 5k of being even (20k up from sesh 1) 5 different times...and 5 different times I wanted to quit because I was tired and frustrated...but if you've been reading this blog...you know I have problems quiting even when I know I should....so It goes back and forth for an eternity until the wheels completely fall off and not only do I shoot off the 25k I won, but another 35k on top of that.

Then of course, I immediately hate myself and quit before I fall off the chair and pass out. Not a good startegy.


He's handling it much better than I am for two reasons:

1. Fatigue - Its been so long since I've played any sort of super marathon HU sessions or any marathon poker sessions in general...that I'm getting tired when we roll over past hour 6. Fatigue is horrible, it puts you into a) robot mode, b) makes you do dumb stuff. All Jerry does is play super long marathon heads up sessions and so he's better prepared to handle it.

2. Tilt factor - I don't think I've gotten him to tilt yet...probably because I keep getting it in ahead and losing or behind and losing...he's been a bit steamy but he hasn't been spewing off to me like I'd expect...but he has gotten me to shoot off a few times. Again, this happens deep into the match so I think it has a lot to do with fatigue.

The clear answer is play short sessions...however, if I opt to play short sessions, where he's stuck 3-4 buyins and then I quit for the day...he will just go and spew it all off to someone else...thus I will cost myself that golden oppertunity when he tilts off 50k....However he's been sort of quitting when he's dropped 4-5buy ins...then cooling off and coming back. So maybe short sessions would be the way to go...we'll see.

Sigh.

I think I'm down on the month now.

Disappointed in myself.

Probably taking weekend off and going to AC.

This is how loose I was getting action and still losing the match, given he wasn't gonna be this loose all the time, all I need is top pair vs 2nd pair a lot of the times, and I can't get it without running hands like above posted repeatedly...

No, I play bad actually....

Jerry, clocked me... I was up like 12k, then it crashes and I run worse than I ever had ran in my life (not when I was winning the 12k he was in behind 100% of the all ins, and failed to suck out) Then I misjudge a bit on his looseness, make a few loose plays where I am making a less than optimal play and followed by losing a 10500$ pot with AA to JJ where he 4flushes gettin in on QQ3 flop with 2 of his suit, losing an 8K pot with top pair vs his middle pair and he spikes a third on the river after putting 200BB nearly on the flop, a 13K Pot where I miss an open ended straight flush draw where he flopped 2 pair (I played my hand way too fast and we were too deep to play it like I did, so my fault, still another huge flip I lost) Lose a 14k pot with nuts vs 2nd nuts, I have 67 on a 4 8 10 Q 5 board.......... I lost to J9 to say the least..... Lost an 8k pot with KK vs 98 where he flopped a joint. And in hindsight the only hand I think I could have prevented was the OESFD. The game flow was so active on both sides, I was getting called so loose but he literally turned 2 pair flopped 2 pair turns straights just runs insane throughout, so I get stuck like 39k for an over 50k swing, which is the new biggest of my "career" and I ran 21k below EV almost, (note this is allin EV this excludes him turning 2pair vs my TPTK or flopping straights vs big pairs when I am never not going to bet into him unless there is just a boatload beating me....)

So I never came from behind for stacks ONE time in the match (well kinda one, but I am fav on the flop with Jh6h vs 3d4d on 4h 5h 7s flop..... this was a 13k pot..... I won, we got all in on the flop..... and I can't beat this fucking guy last night.......

Can't Sleep Update

So 3up and Jay are just as lazy as me atleast, if not lazier.

Pretty sure 3up has been legally drunk for the last 30 days and lost all ambition to play after his 2 month binge. Jay, is just a hermit except for this coming weekend when he refuses to go to Michigan with me to play an HPT / hang out with 3Up because he has tickets to a fucking Miley Cyrus concert..... On the poker news, going to be a little scattered...

First a couple hands from the live tourneys they had in Tulsa (well one hand I remember for sure)

This is at a 5-10 NL table and we are playing with a 25$ straddle

I am the straddle (utg) and pick up 910o

UTG +1 makes it 50$ and 2 others call before it gets to me.

I call the extra 25$

I check
Initial raiser bets 300$ into 200$ (yesssss)
2 folds then back to me

I make it 750 (this is the 2nd time ive put a small raise in on the guy check raising him on the flop)

(by the way I am 9k deep he is about 5k deep)

I pause and debate my options (I had been caught bluffing a kid earlier by grabbing all my bills and sliding them across the table neatly- this is what the plan was)

The guy was pretty pissed and informed atleast 10 people within 30 feet of the table about the hand and I heard a lot about it for the next couple hours, even from people not at the table.... Ok, so I also played the 2100$ buyin tourney up there, which pulled a massive field of 21 players! (this was the only tourney I played)

Oh how I wanted to bring up how so many people from PDC/Carbon fked him up while he was with Acedpoker.com or whatever. But I just couldn't because he looked like a train wreck. He's a nice guy, but pretty sheepish for someone who won 12M, rough road down I guess...

But anyway one hand with him, we are down to like 8 in that 2100$ buyin and Jamie opens and I ship over the top of him. He asks for a count and I count it for him and go about my business, about 20 seconds go by and I look over at Jamie to see wtf is takin so long. This guy is staring me in the eyes, dead in the eyes.... I stare back for like 5 seconds before I start to grin, then smile, then laugh, literally laughing because he won't quit staring me in the eyes. I lose my composure and I say to him "Sorry man I just didnt wake up today thinking I was gonna have Jamie Gold attempt to soul read me"

He folded..... and later I was telling the table that I was laughing because I failed to see what kind of info he was going to gain staring me in the eyes, and what the rat on the wheel in his head was doing.

He busted shortly after squeezing with A2o, I took 3rd (paid 3) for like 7600, lost a stupid hand to get short but oh well..


Ummm my birthday was about a week ago I think, the 9th whenever that was. So for my birthday I rented the VIP section at a club at Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa called Friction, bottle service the works...

So about 3 hours into the night I guess I accidentally elbow a girl or something, (i was told by the girls friend that I never hit her) and then proceed to get a drink thrown on me, security comes and kicks me out of my own fucking VIP when I paid for the fucking thing, without ever hearing a word I have to say, so I dropped about 1600$ on this and get kicked out... I don't even know if anyone there even requested more bottles that I paid for... So yea, that was my birthday..

Oh I rented a 400$ hotel room at the place and I went up to it after kicked out and broke my phone against a wall and then left and drove home.... Boy those maids were in for it in the morning! The towels are hung the bed is made but a few pieces of cellphone to pick up!

So there is this new guy on PDC/Carbon named Colberz20.... watch out for this kid, he is a young up and comer, he is the real mccoy. If you ever see him on the tables mention me and get a free double cheeseburger from McDonalds (limited to one per tourney/cash sitting)

Ummmmmmm I just swapped 10k of my valuable PS money for 10k on FTP and blew it all in about an hour, I fuckin hate that site so so much I just automatically play bad on it. I don't know what it is, but I just play so bad on there. So I am torn what to do about it.

Other than that, online is goin good last few weeks, always on the climb Jerry is back the birds are chirpin the sun is shining and all that good stuff.

For just over two hours which is over 3x as long as I played yesterday. It was pretty exciting. Dadu stole most of my profits because he's a closet fag. That is all.

Ok I will spare some time

Been a while, try to recap most of it as always.

First off, I am going to be on TV in March for poker, not the glamorous WSOP or anything really cool, just the HPT (Heartland Poker Tour) Which is usually flooded with horrible players, I guess it still was but I was one of them :P

Ended up taking 1st place for 81,380$ and basically being the focal point of 2 one hour episodes I assume, if I am not, fk them.

I have not been playing on Merge too much lately, have not found much ambition to do so for some reason, partly because Jay ruins games for me by blocking most the tables and then people he pisses off come try to piss me off for knowing Jay.... So fuck you Jay.

I have been playin a ton of tourneys lately, which I guess was good turned out I played well in that HPT event and did well clearly. Have had some near cashes on the bigger sites, made a final in a 100R on FTP that I took 5th for 13kish, I had a sick run in the Stars Sunday 1.5 Million tourney where I end up getting 14th when I am in a 70BB pot with KK vs JJ and I lost, became short, gg. Would have had a sizeable chip lead if I win the pot. Bust for 6500$ vs the 230K 1st gets :(

Umm another tourney on PS around that time I have a top 3 or 4 stack in a 150$ buyin that pays like 20k with 13 left and I am typing 9900 at 2k 4k blinds, well I type 99,000 and commit myself with rags and lose out to the only guy at my table who was covering me, pretty standard, but funny.

Ummm several mediocre under 10k cashes to keep my roll "alive" but I am sick of tourneys now, I had my chance in the Sunday Mil which is going to be my only shot all year so I am done... I wave my white flag I am tired of spending 12-16 hrs straight behind my computer trying to 4bet at the right time, muck QQ to stay alive or make hero calls with A5, it gets old, people who grind tourneys for a living online are nuts....

I am going to try to spend more time playing live in general. Games are just easier, I get out of my house (even though I will be bitching about not being home soon).

A couple funny hands from a 2-5 HO game and a 5-10 Holdem game the last couple weeks.

First hand, I have 10h 10d 9h 8d playing PLO

Flop is Jh 10d 7h (hands funny enough already right?)

I called a big pot raise from the blinds, we are like 5 handed to flop and there is like 300ish out there already, so I just pot it.

Guy behind me, a friend of mine ships in for like 800$ and all others fold.

I am up against a dry nut flush draw....

I am drunk at this point. Clearly, its a Friday night...

So turn is a black Q river the 8h

He shows nut flush, I am kind of shocked he got there and I dont win the pot, I am staring at his hand (drunk) and someone behind me goes "you have a straight flush" and I look at my hand and I do. So the guy behind me I will claim didn't save me the pot for sure, I had not given my hand a last look, I mean I only flopped nut straight with middle set and a flushdraw and a backdoor flush draw, I am not even thinking about hitting a straight flush when I am on the flop since I am drunk and probably not thinking much at all. But anyways I felt bad that the guy said that and thats how my hand gets exposed, I am certain I would have caught it anyways but still made me look bad when I say nut flush is good to my buddy. My hand was too big for my immediate comprehension. I don't think I have ever hit a flop that hard in my life....

Another funny hand, is actually with Fred Bevill from the HPT he is on TV in every episode. He is playing the 5-10 game at that casino and I am drunk yet again, I am being pretty aggressive.

He opens for 30 utg one guy flats, I make it 110 with 36spades both guys flat. Flop is 8 6 4 rainbow, I get checked too and Fred reraises me and I ship in he tables KK I peel a 3 on the turn and scoop the pot worth like 4kish. He gets pretty pissed and gives his seat to his friend who also works with the HPT and I spew about 9K to his friend being drunk and stupid and they get the last laugh :P

But when we got down to 6 in the HPT we have to go do interviews and stuff and Fred is one of the one doing the interviews and he sees me and just laughs about it, was kind of funny, He said " I would have bet anything you would never make it this far in this tourney" and I thanked him for his faith and respect for my game.

I bought a new truck, well new to me, its an 06 Ford F-150 Lariat with 20" chrome wheels big tires, top of the line Ford with just about every option on it. The first nice vehicle I have ever owned so I am happy about it, I deem it good luck since I won the HPT event like a week after owning it.

Ummm bumm diddy bummmmm I dont have much else that I can think of.... Ill once again state that I will try to post more often, but I will surely fail.

Okay. I am running soooooooooooooooooooo bad.

And I am playing pretty damn bad too. I've played bad all month. Just been a tilt monkey for no reason. Barreling total donks non stop, value betting so so so thin because I need to balance out my bluffing range....EXCEPT I DONT NEED TO BALANCE ANYTHING VS FISH.

I almost set my house on fire playing poker.

Had 2 mega donks heads up and not only did I have to urinate into a jar, but also threw some food into the microwave and was too lazy to take it out of the container so I set the thing for like 2 minutes cause I figured it'd need more tiem since it was in a container and ran back to play the donks.

The only bad thing about running super hot is how bad it feels when the horseshoe falls out of your ass. Over the last few days I'm pretty sure I've only dropped like 5-6k and with all-in equity it still should have been closer to 10k and is by all means a swing that doesn't bother me at all from a monetary perspective but frustration not being able to get anything going. I've been playing a lot of HU the last few days trying to get a feel for it and don't feel I'm handling it very well. I'm eeking out a win without game selection and am happily sitting down with the regulars but feel I'm making a lot of mistakes, adjusting too slow, lacking the stamina to close opponents on the ropes & a bunch of other shit. I just avoided going out for drinks with this girl whos pissed @ her boyfriend cause I had a super donk and manged to give this idiot of epic proportions 7 buy-ins back over the course of 4 hours. I actually quit him I'm on such steaming tilt which I've only done a handful of times & twice were in the last 24hrs. I'm a trainwreck (it's true ask PTR) Enjoy the hiatus of Jay & I wrecking your games while you still can.

Since I have turned into a fat lazy fuck with no motivation. I needed someone or something to get me off my couch. JayNYC was more than happy to oblige. To those who do not known me I have gained 50 lbs. in the past 3 years. So now the gloves have come off. After much negotiation me and Jay have agreed to a Matusow. (Matusow was a fat fuck who won a nice weight loss bet.)

No hands to bring up, except I busted KK with AJ with like 13 left and got reamed by some tool who thinks I was 100% shoving for value, not that those are his words "your favorite hand is AJ" is more like his words... jackass.... He was opening a lot and I squeeze get lucky lah tee dah.

Then I was short on the final and I ship A7o get called by a fellow from Israel who held the chip lead by 108s (he was BB) and he flops an 8 and I turn a miracle Ace... Yay


So I am in the midst of trying to build a roll outside of PDC and PS and FT where I am starting, just 20 buyins on .50 1.00 all I am allowing myself to use.

It is boring and tough to play the stakes but kind of fun to be able to like 20 table again. So I will kinda keep post of that progress, right now its going "ok" I lost half of my PS 2k in like the first 2 hours playing 6max and FR (hu games were just annoying to me on there, dont think I am going to mess with them) but I have almost got that back in a few sessions afterwards.

So I have been running cold vs Israelis, up until a couple days ago. I have been playing poorly too, up until a couple days ago.

So last month recap in a shell.

I moved again, got an apartment, idk why I got an apartment I can't even have my fking grill here there is a community grill at the pool but fuck that. It is a nice apartment though, most expensive ones in Tulsa unless I wanted to live downtown, and I for damn sure don't wanna live downtown.

So I got here and realized I had a shitty poker setup, every time I move I have a shitty setup and have to go out and buy things to make my playing time more comfortable so I bought an L desk so I can prop my feet up, and I bought a nice office chair, setup was just under 2,000$ but it has more than paid for itself thus far.

I am buying a new truck at the end of this month or early to middle part of next month. I have been driving the same truck I have had since I was 17 (i am 23) I have put like 150K miles on it, (it has 275K on it now) and I have had lots of good times, and bad times in the truck. It will be sad when I let it go, but I am so uncomfortable showing women my truck because it is undoubtedly disgusting. Cigarette burns in shapes of smiley faces from friends, bbq sauce stains, blood stains, hockey gear smell. It is just bad, but I love the truck so much, never has broken down on me never given me a problem. I will cry the day I turn it over to someone else, maybe I will just keep it parked for keepsake idk, its not worth a whole hell of a lot. 98 F-150 Lariat EXT Cab. Going to buy a brand new one though. Probably would have sooner if I was not afraid of the IRS but I guess I will start paying taxes too and make it ok.

Hockey has been taking my blog time, this is my excuse, I play on 5 teams, almost each night of the week, and I miss the sunday tourneys every week because of hockey too. And the 50K on Carbon is hands down the best 100$ buyin (well if you are not AJKHoosier or Shaun Deeb) the best all around tourney on the web that americans can play. So I need to get in it more often.

Poker poker poker, I was running bad and playing bad, way too aggressive which I have tamed down.

I just rolled a nice fellow for 20K at 10-20 - not an israeli like I would prefer.

But this started as such.

I get up and check games, see a fish playing an "ok" 2-4 player HU on 10 20 6max. So I naturally sit.

Reg says "HU"

I say "if you had ever played me willingly I would let you"

about 5 minutes goes by of him not joining, his last comment was calling me out to be a pussy I guess....

Reg shows up, he is 3betting insanely often, and very very aggressive and I am not handling it well, I have 4bet him prob 4-5 times and been shoved on every time and I back down, I am stuck about 3k to him at most.

Then I steam roll. We play a couple big pots where I flop a set and he ends up shoving me in for 3k on river (9k pot) with a garb hand.

So after a few bigger pots, I go outside for a cigarette. And while I am sitting there I think to myself about times I jumped up high to play and how I played. I remember having 2k in my accounts at times a long time ago and playing 5-10 or something, and seeing the pot having 500$ in it and how hard I would try to win the pot. So I reallized that this guy is playing over his limit, and he is doing the same thing.

Trucked him.... He called off like 2500$ on the turn after his 1K bet I shove on with 34 on 2 4 5 Q board when I hold JJ (i bet flop he raises i flat i check shove turn he calls)

Another hand that probably set him off in the beginning was when I was handling his 3bets very poor, and I play this pot.

I open A8 to 60- he 3bets to 210 I flat

Flop K 9 2 rainbow,

He checks I check behind

Turn 9s puttign spades out

He leads 300ish and I flat

River is another 9

he open ships 1500$ and I call him down he shows 107 and I scoop.

This is probably the pot that cost him 20K realistically.

Another hand he played he opens to 60 I 3bet to 220 with AA he min reraises me (towards end of sitting so he is trying new things) I flat, flop J J 4 - I check he bets 380 (half pot button) I make it like 840 , really small raise and he ships for like 2k more and I call he tables 34o.

He just could not stay out of pots and keep himself from trying to pick up any significant pot. Needless to say his head was way fucked up for 10 20.

So literally after about 20 days of LITERALLY holding my account even playing and running bad I finally have some profits for the month. Just checking the ledger history was kinda sick because at the end of every day my account was within a 2500-3K area lol. So many of those days too I would get up and get stuck for 6-10K and it makes me sick that I am that dumb on a day to day basis.....

So, we were in vegas. Yes I know I've already mentioned that and yes I know there's no real trip report but don't blame me, blame dudu.

Moving on.

After coming back from that soulless desert land fill in Nevada, I decided to play normal poker. Aka multitable 6-8 table HU & 6max games on my little 17" laptop because my desktop is donk down. Weeeeeeeeee. It's fun. Not really.

Oh, right, I forgot to mention that somewhere during that first week I celebrated a bunch of birthdays, including my own and July 4th and so on and so on. It was fun. Many young ladies from foriegn countries gave me their phone numbers. They probably really really like my........US PASSPORT. The best part was that half of them can't afford to pay their cell phones or don't know how to... so a lot of good it did me...but we'll get to that in a minute. Dumb strippers.

So I played for the first week of july...starting somewhere around the 7th? Probably played terrible as that seems to be the only way I know how...but since I didn't whine here...I probably won.

Then somewhere mid july the wifi I was stealing from my neighbor started sucking so I decided to get my own. It took a while as the cable company is straight up retarded. So while they took their sweet time installing my new internet, I spent a week calling all my new found green card seeking friends. Hilarious debauchery ensued.

Now for the last few weeks of July I've locked myself in the house for non stop poker shenanigans. I've quit working out, eating, sleeping, kickboxing, and pretty much any life activity other than click click lose pot, click click, yell obscenity, click click slam table, click click you get the picture.

Yeah so apart from tilting like a spew tard monkey, I clocked like 50k in july. Probably shoulda done 70 but I suck and play waaaaay to long which causes me to tilt hardcore like a Neanderthal...and even though I know I have this problem...I still do it! More on this later...

So come August 1...I wake up 3am, because my sleep schedule is so out of balance right now.... so technically it's already Aug2 anyway...i end up playing an insane marathon session from 3am to 9pm. I was up 36? in like the first 5-6 hours...and then the total monkey spew comes because after 10hours of poker I begin to spazz out and so I drop 8? just playing like a complete idiot. So shut down all the cashaments and played a sunday donky.

Final tabled. Obviously mega tired. So with 6 left, I get it in w/ JJ vs KT and lose. Meh....woulda had lots of chippies and good chance to win. That obv makes me hate life and not wanna play anymore. So I just spew off so I can go sleep.

Sleep for 12 hrs and wake up today. Ahh the weather is nice, I'm going to take the day off. I'm tired. I hate poker. I deserve it, right? Wrong. I shower and run to check on the games, hoping that they aren't running and I can leave the house for the first time in forever. Nope. They are...and they are good. Of course I sit...and because I don't want to be there, I monkey spew. This happens every time I don't want to play...I don't know why I bother. Oh yeah, because there are like 4 donks on every 6max table.

Meh, so I drop 5-6 playing very dumb, then win it back playing hu. Even. Games die. Great, leave the house Jay. No. Must watch new episode of Rescue Me...which was quite good. Okay. Watched. Leave now. No, must check games. OMG Games are back and very good. Back to the grind. But I want to leave...so? So I spew off 10k playing some donk HU because I can't make a hand and I just wanna leave and spew spew spew. Call call call.

Then, when i finally win some pots, this dude quits the heads up to play 6max cause hes afraid to play deeper than 100bb while having 5 buyins on the tables. I hope someone hits him in the face with a crobar. I really do. In fact, if one of you wants to do this for me, I will dladly pay you $100.

So to recap: Instead of leaving the house and enjoying a nice sunny day outside, I stay home and donk tilt off 10k. FMYLIFE.

So Dudu and I are chilling in the venetian pool...just bullshitting about life and having a drink when all of a sudden, out of nowhre, dudu says something along the lines of...

...in the tone of a 13 year old girl who was about to meet her favorite backstreet boy.

Holy mother of god, this fish is going to head over to the garbage dump known as the rio solely to meet bullitpete. I was speechless. I mean, this is pretty damn non- heterosexual.....even for dudu. Judging by how excited he was you'd think they just offered to buy him 10 lap dances at the rhino...

So we go back up to the room and dudu scurries around like a chicken without a head picking out clothes, fixing his hair...making himself look all pretty. It was like watching a fat girl get ready for the first date she's been waiting to go on her entire life.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions on how their meeting went. I did make dudu pay dearly for leaving his facebook logged in on my laptop...but I'll save that for another post.

So it has been about 20 days roughly. Ill try to get it all in here.

I went on a 30+ BI swing at 5-10, my sickest swing ever, I ran so so bad.

A few hands from this run would include.

Twice having top set vs quads (A99 board vs 99) JQ6 board v 66 (yea not top set but fk it close enough)

3 Betting an israeli HU with 84 spades flop 5s6s7d and I am vs 89 and I brick a spade.

Losing like 03498573234 races in a row.

Playing poorly.

Ummm I remember flopping top 2 with AQ vs same Israeli gentleman vs his A5 (1 pair) and he backdoored 5s on me.


Okie so was officially like a 36 BI slide at its peak. 36K in like 5 days, it was absurd.


SINCE those 5 days I have ran ok, I have made about 18 of those BIs back and the Israeli who was sucking out on me and coolering me has cooled off himself. I am going to bust him. I have his game down so well now. Except for how to hit more of the flops thast he 3bets me pre on. I won literally every race on him today and he tried to bluff me off a couple hands and failed.

Still feel like im running poorly over all in 6max though I had a fair sitting a couple times but seems when I am flatting with big pairs on 3bets when I know the 3better can't play vs a 4bet I get beat up in, flopping trips or two pair with random cards or I flop a set (when I wanna get it in bad and river a set :) and kill action.

I suck at 2-4 I literally spew buyins off there, it is ridiculous how bad I play at 2-4, I need a program that blocks the dollar figure out and just converts everything to BBs on the table, and to be able to hide the names of tables so I can just open them, mix them up and have to play better or risk losing at higher stakes at the rate I do playing 2-4.

So Still stuck since Vegas but will eventually get that all back.

Was going to shoot for the top level in the promo buuut that would be a lot of play AND I would have to do a lot of it at 2-4 and I spew there so I should prob steer clear, and I will probably make top 2 or 3 levels and call it good, but the top level is an insane amount of playing unless I got HU action all day when I played and got a lot of sitgos running. (which one day I did get a guy to play me like 20 400$ HU sitgos in like 2 -3 hours, and he was bad, and I had a 17 of 21 game streak going at one point which is pretty goot)

Have been playin a bit live lately, and my game is just so far ahead of people around here. It is hard to book a losing session if I am focused. Though I drunkenly spewed 5-6K playing blackjack after poker one night. I don't have an exact amount I lost, it may have been more. I was hammered.......

Ok... Well I ran great in Vegas.

Well not great but I played great with a some luck.

Me and Jay both had 3-4 losing sessions before one of us had a winning session. ( I had the first winning session - Jay had about 8 losing sessions give or take)

Anyways I played 2-5 with Jay for the first 2 days or so and ran so horribly bad.

The day I move to 5-10 is the day I do well. The 2-5 games are fulllllllll of nits, reason? I have figured it out. All the 2-5 players are in Vegas with their 50c 1$ and 1-2$ rolls and are just so passive about sticking 500+ in a pot without the nuts. Then the 5-10 games full of 2-4 to 10-20 grinders who actually play a little loose with each other, have a roll of over 10K on them and play as such.

So there are 3 or 4 hands I have to share for the trip.

UNO this is my first night on 5-10 abut 5 hours in, I am up a bit but not even close to even for the trip. Then someone puts me in the green!

I have A10o in mid I make it 30$ the button (tighter older guy who has about 5k in bills behind his stack calls) the SB (a guy from the UK but he is dark skinned and throws me off when he talks with an english accent) (and has been 3betting a lot) 3bets OOP to 140. It comes back to me and I make it 440$ and the button flats ????? the 3better folds.

I check over to him and he bets 480$

OOOOOK no I don't insta fold this. I have him on a stone cold bluff due to the fact he has his face staring striaght down and he is not moving (which is my read with tons of evidence) (I know you wanted a more subtle read but I didnt have one)

I tank for a good 5-8 minutes. I rationalize that he can be bluffing with AJ AK which are good, any 5, and possibly a 9.

I swear to you if I had any pair here I make the call, even 66 77 I call, 33 44 I may toss.

I end up foldng and he tables 56o ( a stone cold bluff but a hand that beat me he could be stone cold bluffing with... Sadly...)


Next night, I am playing 5-10 late and I am drunk, up about 8K for the session

Utg makes it 40$ next action makes it 150$ 2 down the line makes it 600$ I look down at Q8c and I announce 2100$ back to UTG who ships and the other 2 fold (this makes me like my play for some reason.... sicne I got the 3 and 4bet out, but who knows if one ships if utg folds)

Anyways I had to call another 1300$ and change to try at a 7k pot.
